GROSSMONT COLLEGE (Press Release)– The Muslim Student Association (MSA) sponsors “Islam Awareness Day,” its second event of the semester from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday, Nov. 14, in the Main Quad.
“Join us for an informative day filled with stations/topics about Islam (including Quran: The Final Revelation, Prayer, Fasting, Zakat, Hajj/Pilgrimage, etc…>”said a spokesperson. Plates of Middle Eastern food also will be sold.
“MSA strives to educate fellow students and community members about Islam and Muslims in hopes of clearing common misconceptions to create a more peaceful, tolerant, and understanding environment for all”.
