GROSSMONT COLLEGE (Press Release) – Looking for bargains on such items as bookcases; cabinets; chairs; desks; file cabinets; fitness equipment; computer equipment; printers; scanners; tables, and medical equipment?
Surplus items to be auctioned off by Grossmont College will be viewable on line beginning Friday, Oct. 1, by pressing the “Auctions” tab on the website of the McCormack Auction Company . A list of items for auction also may be accessed on the warehouse portion of the campus website.
A day before the Tuesday, Oct. 26, auction there will be an onsite preview for potential bidders, from noon to 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 25, on the Grossmont campus.
Prior to the auction, there will be bidding on line through the McCormack Auction House’s website up to two weeks before the Oct. 26 auction. Participants will be required to authorize a hold of up to $200 on their credit cards.
Items purchased at the auction must be picked up two business days following the auction.
However, according to a notice, large items such as cars and machine shop equipment “may be located at other sites and specific pick-up arrangements will be made.
