On Wednesday, March 23, Grossmont College will host its second annual Refugee Job Fair. The event is set to take place in the main quad from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

More than 50 employers are expected to partake in the fair. A wide range of jobs will be represented including those in healthcare, retail, defense and public safety.

The free event is open to students and the public. No registration is required to attend. Food and refreshments will be provided.

In addition, free professional headshots will be offered. Headshots are great for portfolios and platforms like LinkedIn. A quality headshot makes an excellent first impression and shows employers you are professional.

If attending, make sure to bring your resume as assistance in creating a stronger one will be available. Your resume can also be helpful if you are planning on taking part in the mock interviews that will also be offered.
