GROSSMONT COLLEGE (Press Release)–What would you do if you suddenly found out that world-famous rock star Lady Tata is your missing twin? The problem is; she doesn’t even know you exist.
When Stefani travels to the big city in search of her long-lost sister, their identical looks but conflicting personalities wreak havoc with friends and family.
The Theatre Arts Dept. will present “Tata Twins: The Remix,” a story about mistaken
identity, on Dec. 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 9 and 10 at 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 3 and 10 at 2 p.m. at the Stagehouse Theatre, located on campus.
The play is a modern adaptation of the Roman comedy, Menaechmi by Plautus, and later served as the inspiration for Shakespeare’s A Comedy of Errors. The play is adapted by Grossmont College Theatre Arts Department instructor Jeannette Thomas and directed by Grossmont College Theatre Arts Department chair Beth Duggan. Tata Twins: The Remix contains adult situations and language. For ticket information, phone (619) 644-7234.
