GROSSMONT COLLEGE (Press Release)–The Intercollegiate Forensics Team (Speech and Debate) has been traveling and speaking at 3 tournaments in the last 4 weeks, first at Point Loma University, then at Cerritos College and finally at PSCFA’s Spring Champs at Moorpark College . Below are the results of those tournaments:
Point Loma University: Feb. 5-6
- Jonathan Smith: Finalist in Nov. Impromptu
- Ali Majed Aldhalimi: Top Novice in Poetry Interpretation
PSCFA Spring Champs, Moorpark College, Feb. 25-27
- Bryan Hatton: 1st place in Nov. Extemporaneous Speaking
- Gabi Johnson: Finalist in Nov. Extemporaneous Speaking
- Ali Majed Aldhalimi: Finalist in Nov. Impromptu Speaking
- Gabi Johnson: 10th Place Speaker Award in Nov. Parli Debate
- Diana Trinidad: 11th Place Speaker Award in Nov. Parli Debate
- Jonathan Smith: Recognized in top 20 of Jr. Parli Debate Speakers
