Start off this school year by meeting new people getting the experience of working with others and helping out the community. There are many diverse of clubs around Grossmont College that advertise on campus. If you haven’t heard or seen any flyers around campus, start by going to Grossmont website for a list of clubs.

If going through the website seems dull, make a day of the upcoming event held on Sept 24 and 25. Many students like Karen Sanchez said,” Maybe I will,” when asked if she was going to join a club, adding that she might be joining the French Club.

For students that attend Grossmont wanting to do a club that involves staying fit, the track club would be one of the clubs that would help and motivate students to stay fit. The track club meets on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The focus of the track club will be participation on sporting events.

Cerah Health, a current student in Grossmont, said that she probably will not join a club because nothing seemed interesting. Well, if students haven’t found a club that interests them, they can make their own club by going to the student activities page on the campus website and following the steps.
