GROSSMONT COLLEGE — Pssst! The secret’s out.
The Guinness Book of World Records attempt that will be made on Saturday, April 14, will be to collect the most birthday signatures on a birthday card.
The card wishing Grossmont a happy 50th birthday will be available for signing on the Main Quad between 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
If you sign your name to it, and you’re among the firsst 1,500, you’ll receive a T-shirt as a thank you gift from the school.
Officials say they will seek at least 1,500 signatures over the five-hour period.
Well-wishers from out of the area may email their congratulatory birthday wishes to Grossmont college via its facebook page, so long as they are sent between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., and those signatures will count toward the record, campus officials said.
