NEW YORK (USANN4)–The Wall Street Journal reports that U.S. business schools are increasing their international recruiting efforts. That’s because most of them are facing a decline in applications from overseas. According to the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, international enrollment at U.S. business schools dropped to 24.8 percent in the 2009-10 school year.
That’s down from 26.5 percent two years prior. For example, at the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business, international enrollment is only 16 percent for the class of 2012. That is the school’s lowest in over a decade.
