Private universities to recruit on campus Tuesday

GROSSMONT COLLEGE (Press Release)–As transfer to public universities becomes more difficult and uncertain, the local private universities are reaching out to local students who want to live in San Diego and earn a bachelor’s degree as soon as possible.

On Tuesday, April 26th, there will be a Spring 2011 Transfer Options Fair at Grossmont College, from 3:00pm—6:00pm in the Main Quad.  If students have an unofficial copy of their transcripts, the university representatives will do on the spot evaluation for admission.

A partial list of university participants with local campuses includes the following:

  • Alliant University
  • Azusa Pacific University
  • DeVry University
  • Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising
  • National University
  • Oklahoma University
  • Point Loma Nazarene University
  • San Diego Christian College
  • University of Phoenix
  • University of Redlands
  • University of San Diego
  • Webster University
  • * Preceding provided by Mary Rider of the campus Transfer Center
