GROSSMONT COLLEGE (Press Release)– The retired vice president of student services of Alan Hancock College, Dr. Roger Welt, has accepted a position as interim vice president of student services at Grossmont.
Welt has 34 years of community college experience, 25 of those in student services. Grossmont President Sunita Cooke said Welt will start in a part time capacity Nov. 7, then will begin full-time service in January and remain until a permanent replacement can be found.
Alan Hancock College, a community college, is located in northern Santa Barbara County.
