WASHINGTON, D.C. (USANN4) –College acceptance rates drop again in 2011. The Washington Post reports that Harvard received nearly 35,000 applications for the class of 2015. It accepted a little over 2,100 students for an admission rate of 6-point-2 percent. Fellow Ivy League institution Columbia had an admit rate of 6-point-9 percent. That’s down from last year’s rate of 9-point-2 percent.
Out West, Stanford had an admission rate of 7-point-1 percent. Yale was slightly higher at 7-point-35 percent.
